Running a webinar at Lancelin WA

Updated: Aug 23, 2022

We were due to spend some time in Perth, but with the threat of a covid lockdown, we decided to skip it and stay out of the metro area completely.

The internet here was okay, but because one of the most important things to me is a good upload speed, because I really need to be able to confidently run webinars using my caravan wifi, and I just couldn’t have done without having a great caravan wifi solution like Out There Internet. I always breathe a huge sigh of relief when I can get my work done without fussing and interrupting the fun that everyone is having. There have been so many times that I have sat back and thought about what I would have done if I didn't have it and the truth is that I would have either given up on work altogether or drastically altered my families journey to suit my work and we would not have been able to experience this journey so fully.

I guess as Victorians, we were already scarred from the 2020 lockdown, so heading straight to Lancelin seemed like the best idea.

Lancelin was pretty high on Matt's list of places to visit as he’s a fan of driving, riding and sliding down the sand dunes. I'm happy to say that it wasn't only Matt, but everyone loved it, and had a great time.

I’ll be honest and say as the mum I was a little nervous there may be an injury or two or three but I had a good go myself and it certainly was fun. Holly got so good at it she even gave it a go while standing up and trying to surf down one of the smaller dunes. I was very nervous indeed!

We stayed in the caravan park which was located very close to the dunes and it had a jumping pillow, pool and spa that the kids loved. It didn’t take us long to move on from our disappointment of not being able to see Perth.
